Nehemiah

Nehemiah provides both valuable historical information and an important lesson for those who seek to be guided by faith. The story takes place around 444 B.C. and is the account of one man’s mission to resurrect the city of his ancestors. Jerusalem had been destroyed some 150 years earlier and when Nehemiah, an attendant of the king of Persia, learns this, he prays that God will remember the city of His people. The book, however, is about much more than a construction project. It is all about what can happen when one has the faith to believe that God can do the impossible.
